THE PROBLEM:
Emerald Ash Borer
In 2002 the Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis) was found in Detroit, Michigan and has been spreading out ever since. This small beetle is native to Asia and is an invasive species. Over 100 Million ash trees have been killed because of this non-native insect. The larva feed below the bark disrupting the water and nutrient flow of the tree. With no water or nutrients the tree dies. When the tree dies, the beetles fly to other ash trees to infest and kill them too.

THE SOLUTION:
Save The Ash Tree Treatment Packages

How to Know if Your Tree is an Ash
Common features of all ash trees are the compound leaf, shape of the seeds, and anthers. Your tree bark might be different. Common species of ash include Green Ash, Black Ash, Purple Ash, and White Ash. All species are at risk unless they have an ash tree treatment. The pictures below are from a green ash.

Save The Ash Tree Co. were
outstanding! While the entire area is battling EAB, They made time to come look at our tree(s) the day after I called, then treated a couple days later. This after talking with another company that couldn’t come take a look for 3 weeks.

I am so grateful to Save the Ash Tree. We have a large ash tree with EAB and I was told I’d just have to watch it die. They explained that it can be saved and walked me through all the steps of the process. He was patient and taught me about EAB.

Amazing experience. Great information. My Ash tree is the only tree I have in my backyard and I noticed some branches were bare and not looking healthy and they put me on their calendar in just a few days. Greatly appreciate all the information.
